It Started on W.A.S.
The Ween Zine “Don’t Get 2 Close (2 My Fanzine)" was birthed after a photoshop contest on the Ween Appreciation Society really blew up. I saw that there was many incredibly talented artists in our Facebook group and I wanted to harness that energy into something that could make a difference in our society.

That is when the idea for the Ween Zine began. A W.A.S member named Will DeBour had the awesome idea from his college days for the title "Don’t Get 2 Close (2 My Fanzine)” and it just stuck. Since it’s inception in that post, we have had so many amazing artists both professional and homegrown.
Growing Quickly
Artists like Jim Mahfood (Grrl Scouts, Tank Girl, Clerks), Dave Crosland (Invader Zim), Zoltron (Poster Art for Ween, Primus, Iggy Pop), Croix Beriman, Joe Ski, Tom Haefilger, Garry Young, Luis Roldan & Nacho Gavira and all the badasses at W.A.S have contributed so far and the community is growing quickly!
